Teaching Assistants

Annual full-time salary:  £16,284 (FTE)

(Part-time Monday to Friday, predominantly in the morning).
Actual annual salary will be approx. 16 – 25 hrs to be confirmed at interview.

 A number of opportunities have arisen for suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our developing school.

 Required for a September start, we are seeking Teaching Assistant support with the education and welfare of pupils with identified Special Educational Needs in both the Lower and Upper School

 You will be expected to either to work with individual children and/or by supporting small groups or individuals promoting their self-esteem, independence and academic progress.

 The Upper School position is linked to an Upper School pupil and will require support in a range of GCSE lessons. An interest and knowledge in History and/or Science would be an advantage for this post.

 The appointments will require from 16 – 25hrs/week commitment details of which will be explored at interview and dependent on the strengths and availability of candidates appointed.

 The appointments will initially be on a fixed-term contract until the 31st August ’17 and may be subject to change.  The contract may be extended and/or made permanent.
